Matthew Purdon is the head winemaker.  His interest in wine began as a freshman in college when he took a Wine Tasting class at Northwestern University.  He began to make wine in an Art & Nature class while enrolled in graduate school at JFK University. He is currently participating in UC Davis’s Certificate Program in Winemaking.  This fall will be his 6^th vintage.

Keith Crowell is the assistant winemaker.  His interest in measuring ph levels began with salt water fish tanks.  Eventually, he realized he could bring the same skills to wine making – and wine tastes better than salt water!  He also has an extensive background in beer and sake making.  This fall will be his 4^th vintage.
