Matthew Purdon is the head winemaker.  His interest in wine began as a freshman in college when he took a Wine Tasting class at Northwestern University.  He began to make wine in an Art & Nature class while enrolled in graduate school at JFK University. He is currently participating in UC Davis’s Certificate Program in Winemaking.  This fall will be his 6th vintage.

Keith Crowell is the assistant winemaker.  His interest in measuring ph levels began with salt water fish tanks.  Eventually, he realized he could bring the same skills to wine making – and wine tastes better than salt water!  He also has an extensive background in beer and sake making.  This fall will be his 4th vintage.
